The funeral of John H. Locke, 61, who died here Thursday midnight, will be held Sunday afternoon. Services at First Baptist Church will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. T. J. Watts, assisted by the Rev. C. C. Klingman of First Christian Church. Cooper's Funeral Home will make interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Locke, salesman for Wilson Chevrolet Company of Bonham, died unexpectedly at home of a heart attack.
Son of the late J. M. Locke and Mrs. Locke, he was born north of Honey Grove, Aug. 1, 1888.
An active member of the Baptist Church, he was a deacon there and had been choir director.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Fannie Rutherford, whom he married here, Sept. 6, 1930; his mother; a brother and two sisters, Albert Locke and Mrs. C. E. Locke, Paris, and Mrs. Sam Gray, Roxton, besides a number of nieces and nephews.
