Chesnee, July 8.- The body of PINK McSWAIN, 53, of Chesnee, was found yesterday
morning at 11 o'clock in G.F. EZELL'S fish pond following his disappearance Sunday night.
A coroner's jury at an inquest yesterday found that he came to his death by drowning. The inquest was conducted by coroner JOHN S. TURNER.
The body was recovered by GENE PYE, a neighbor.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 o'clock at the Providence Wesleyan Methodist church, near Chesnee, conducted by the REV. PAUL ALDRIDGE of Carlisle and the REV. J.W. MILLER of Spartanburg.
Pallbearers were BURT SPLAWN, ODELL COLE, C.C. and TOLLIE MAHAFFEY, WELDON HALL and WILLIE JOHNSON.
Mr. McSWAIN is survived by his widow, MRS. PINK McSWAIN; 2 sons, TOM and BUSTER McSWAIN, 3 daughters, LILLY, RUBY and VADA McSWAIN, all of home, 3 brothers,
MONROE, ED, of Chesnee and GROVER McSWAIN, Cleveland Co., 2 sisters, MRS. ROY CALVERT and MISS LILLIE McSWAIN, both of Beaumont.
