A native of Brantley County, she was the daughter of the late Otis Morgan and Martha Lyons Morgan and received her education in the public schools of the county. Her son, Blake "Tater" Harris, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Harris of Nahunta; one daughter, Regina Landaverde (Silvano); three grandchildren, Stetson and Seirra Landaverde and Tiffany Walker; two sisters, Gertie Knox (Junior) and Myrtis Lambert; one brother, J.L. Morgan. Also surviving are three foster children, H.E. Grooms, James Grooms and Jessie Baker; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral will be held today at 3 at the graveside in Rob Lewis Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Knox and the Rev. Raymond Willis officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Stanley Dowling, Jay Ham, Dustin Thomas, Gary Harris, Dan Moody and Coy Brooker.
