Charles is survived by his step-son, Jerry Owens of Fresno, sister, Geneva Hooven of Los Angeles, sister-in-law, Alta Barber of Pixley, caregiver, Rita Harper, and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Charles' life was held at the Pixley Missionary Baptist Church, 367 S. Maple, Pixley, CA 93256.
