VIDOR – Funeral for Ethel Edilde Darwin, 75, of Vidor, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kelley-Hixon Funeral Home with burial in Bethany Cemetery in Colmesneil.

She died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital after an illness.

A native of Tyler, she lived in Beaumont 30 years before moving to Vidor eight years ago and was a licensed vocational nurse.

Survivors include a daughter, Margie Stafford of Beaumont, two sons, Jessie Wright and Jerry Wright, both of Vidor, two sisters, Beatrice Lee of Woodville, and Ettie Durham of Beaumont, two brothers, Charlton Durham and Aaron Durham, both of Woodville, 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
