Last Rites for Huey Marshall Held October 13

Funeral services for Huey Marshall, 77, of Woodville, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 1971, in the Bethany Baptist Church with the Dr. Raymond Parker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Mr. Marshall died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 1971, in a Woodville nursing home after a long illness.

A native and lifelong resident of Tyler County, he was a Baptist and a member of the Yellowpine Masonic Lodge of Colmesneil. He was a World War I veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lema Quarles Marshall, son, Macky D. Marshall of Nederland, brother, Craig Marshall of Colmesneil, sister, Mrs. L. C. Hawthorne of Port Arthur and three grandchildren.
