Funeral services for Hardy Marshall, 80, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, in the Bethany Baptist Church. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery with Masonic graveside services.

Pallbearers were Alvin and Calvin Flowers, Mike Miller, Charles Marshall, Boyd Turner, Mark Brentzel, and Roger Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was dead on arrival at Tyler County Hospital Friday afternoon, shortly after suffering an attack at his home.

He was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and a farmer until he retired. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a past master of the Yellow Pine Masonic Lodge of Colmesneil. He was a 50-year Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie Neely Marshall of Woodville; five daughters, Mrs. H. C. Flowers of Woodville, Mrs. J. D. Richardson of Alvin, Mrs. Paul Miller of Beaumont, Mrs. Bill Brentzel of Baytown, and Mrs. Johnny Turner of Port Arthur; two sons, Charles H. Marshall of Port Arthur and Marvis Marshall of North Wells, PA; two brothers, Huey Marshall of Beaumont and Craig Marshall of Colmesneil; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Hawthorne of Port Arthur, 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
