Mrs. Coggins was born on February 6, 1924 in Jasper County, Georgia. An honor graduate of Monticello High School, she attended Berry College and sang in the college concert choir for two years. A resident of Warner Robins for most of her life, she was a former member of Oakland Baptist Church where she had been very active. She called Shirley Hills Baptist Church her home church where she was very active in its outreach, sang in the Keenager Khorus and was a faithful member of the Faith Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Coggins, parents, Richard Orell Aaron and Mary Vaughn Aaron, and sister Nellie Deane Aaron.
Her extended family, Kathleen Brown and family and Beth Herron and family, will always treasure her memory and would like to express their grateful appreciation to the staff of Elberta Healthcare for their care of Mrs. Coggins.
