Charlie NIXON Dies; Rites Set
Charlie NIXON, 58, of 625 Mesquite, died Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas.
Born Sept. 6, 1906 in Burleson County, he had been a resident of Abilene for the past 20 years and was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. R. L. JOHNSON officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery under direction of Curtis-Starks Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife; one brother, Oscar LOUIS of Fort Worth, and one sister, Mrs. Alberta LUCAS of Dallas.
