Dixie Nell Bertram Roberts, age 74, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Roberts was born July 11, 1934.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by husband, Maldon Roberts; step-son, Jimmy Roberts and wife Connie; step-daughter, Patricia Roberts; three sisters, Nancy Carolyn Conatser and husband George, Peggy Ann Burton and husband Thomas and Shirley Faye Pryor and husband Harrison; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by parents, Joel and Arrie Jackson Bertram; son, Ronald Allen Wright; three sisters, Mattie Francis Bertram, Ruth Bowden and Norma Jean Wright; three brothers, Larry Hardie, Charlie Fox Bertram and Donald David Bertram.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Rhoad and Bro. Mike McCartney officiating. Burial followed in the Andy Smith Cemetery. Pallbearers included Benny Bowden, Danny Gardner, Pat Sullivan, David Bertram, Gary Wright, and Bradley Bowden.
