Annie (Hendrikje) was born in Holland in 1858. She arrived in the United States in 1879 at the age of 21. Prior to her marriage to John Kornet, Annie gave birth to two daughters, Bertha and Kate, who were adopted by John. Annie and John went on to have seven more children, one of whom died at the age of six (Maria) and is buried in the same plot as her parents.

The Kornet's other children were Bas (Sebastian), Nellie (Anna Petronella), Frederick, Marinus, Anna (Henrietta) and Johanna.

MRS. H. KORNET DIES IN HER 81ST YEAR
Was Born in Holland and Lived in Midland Park Fifty-Eight Years

Henrietta Kornet, wife of the late John Kornet, formerly of Bank Street, Midland Park, passed away this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Outslay, that Borough, after an illness of three weeks.

Mrs. Kornet, who was eighty years of age on January 27 of this year, was the mother of eight children and had resided in Midland Park for fifty-eight years. Her birthplace was in the Netherlands.

The surviving children are: Mrs. Orey Van Dyke, Mrs. Eugene Wagenheim, Sabastian Kornet, Mrs. Norris Spencer, Fred Kornet, Marinus Kornet, Mrs. James DeKorte and Mrs. John Outslay at whose home she resided at the time of her death. She also leaves a brother, Garret VanderHeide residing in Florida. There also are twenty-one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Kornet was a prominent member of the First Holland Reformed Church of Midland Park and active in the Missionary society there. In spite of her age she was able to attend church up until her last illness.

The funeral has been tentatively set for 1:30 o'clock tomorrow, (Friday) afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the First Holland Reformed Church, with the Rev. A. A. Schermer officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.

Midland Park Church Worker Was Resident There 58 Years

Midland Park lost one of its oldest residents yesterday with the death of Mrs. Henrietta Kornet 80, wife of the late John Kornet. A resident of Bank Street, she died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Outslay of Center Street, with whom she had been staying since July, during the illness which brought about her death.

Mrs. Kornet had resided in Midland Park for the past 58 years. She was born in the Netherlands on Jan. 27, 1860.

Tentative funeral arrangements have been made for tomorrow. There will be a service at the Outslay home at 1:30 P. M. and at the First Holland Reformed Church on Center Street at 2 P. M. The Rev. Anton A. Schermer, pastor at the First Holland Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mr[s]. Kornet was a prominent member of the church and an active member of the missionary society. Despite her age she was a regular attendant at services and missionary meetings until her illness.

Surviving are 1 brother, Garret Van Der Heide of Florida, N. Y.; 8 children, Mrs. Orie Van Dyke, Mrs. Eugene Wagenheim, Sebastian Kornet, Mrs. Norris Spencer, Fred Kornet, Marinus Kornet, Mrs. James De Korte and Mrs. Outslay, all of Midland Park; 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
