Annie Mae Combs, 87, of Sanderson died February 13 in Riverside-St. Vincent's Hospital, Jacksonville, following a long illness. The Taylor native was the daughter of the late William R. and Easterann Raulerson Combs. She resided in Sanderson most of her life, was a homemaker, a member of the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church, and the widow of Rev. Fred Combs, Sr. Survivors include daughter Mary C. Goodwin and son Fred Combs, Jr., both of Sanderson; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted February 16 in the Taylor Church, with Rev. Oral Lyons, pastor of the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church, officiating, assisted by Revs. Willard E. Lee and Leslie Thomas. Pallbearers were Jerry, Clayton, Bruce and Freddie Combs, Rickey Goodwin and Tommy Wolfe.
