" EX-TEACHER SUCCUMBS
Mrs. Mae Swartzfager of 107 E. 5th St., a former Clarion County school teacher, died in the Oil City Hospital at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. She was born in Venus, a daughter of George and Rebecca McKissick Lauffer.

Prior to her marriage to W. Ralph Swartzfager, she taught school in Clarion County for about 10 years. She was a member of the Good Hope Lutheran Church, Dorcas Circle, Adult Bible Class and Women of Good Hope.

Surviving are a son, Rev. George K. Swartzfager of Spencer, O.; two sisters, Miss Edna Lauffer at home and Mrs. C.A. (Mary) Swartzfager of Whittier, Calif.; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. F. LeRoy Sarver in charge. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery."
