Clifford Earnest Morris was born on March 14, 1904 at Topeka, KS. to John and Sarah Phelan Morris. He passed away on December 18, 1980 at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 76.
His family moved to Arkansas while he was a young child then, at the age of nine, they moved back to Fall River, Kansas where he attended school and grew to manhood. He was married for several years early in his life and to this union were born four daughters. About 1940, Clifford met Reba in Sedan, Kansas and on July 3, 1941 they were united in marriage.
They made their home at Independence, Missouri for about ten years then moved to Independence, Kansas before settling in Cherryvale, Kansas. Clifford became disabled in 1959 while living at Cherryvale, Kansas where thy made their home for over 15 years.
He was a manager at Rock Motor Court in Wichita, Kansas before moving to Cedar Vale in 1977. Here he owned the Wagon Wheel Bait Shop and lived until his death.
Clifford joined the Christian Church at Fall River, Kansas while he was growing up there. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 1980 in the Browns Chapel Cemtery at Fall River, Kansas with Rev. Dennis Lorenz of the First Baptist Church of Howard, Kansas officiating.
