Former Elwood resident, Jason E. Singer, 19, of Cumberland, died Sunday.
He was born April 6, 1972, in Elwood. He was a member of the Greenfield Unit of the Indiana National Guard. He also was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Gwen Kohn Brown and the Rev. Warren Brown of Cumberland; his father and stepmother, Theodore M. and Patricia Singer; his brother, Rodney A. Singer; his sister, Jessica Singer; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rott and Marion and Lenora Singer of Elwood.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
