Rodney Alan Singer
Rodney Alan Singer, 33, of Elwood, died Monday at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
He was born Nov. 7, 1968 in Elwood.
He was a cabinet maker and served in the National Guard from 1991 to 1999 working in the adjutant general's office. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Indianapolis and the American Legion in Chesterfield. He attended Ivy Tech and IUPUI.
He married Lelanya Clem Sept. 20, 2001.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Gwen (Kohn) Brown of Cumberland; his father, Ted Singer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a stepson, Triston Kates of Anderson; a sister, Jessica Singer of Greenfield; paternal grandmother, Lenora Singer of Elwood; maternal grandparents, John and Norma Rott of Elwood and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Singer.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Copher & Fesler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Becker officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
