Obit in Correctionville News, 21 July 1979, page 10: Frank Julius Karl Keller, son of Karl and Bertha Keller, was born near Jamestown, North Dakota, March 7, 1884. He moved to Woodbury Co., Iowa, with his parents at the age of two. He was married to Miss Sadie Mahin on April 24, 1907, at Bronson, Iowa. They lived several places in western Iowa and also two years at Wynot, Nebraska. For a time they farmed and then in 1935 moved into Correctionville where they operated a restaurant and pool hall. To this union two daughters were born, Frances and Florence. Mrs. Keller passed away November 23, 1963. Frank moved to the Valley View Nursing Home September 25, 1973. He passed away February 2, 1979, aged 94 years, 10 months and 25 days. Funeral services were held Monday, February 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Barker Funeral Home with Pastor Ervin Schemmel officiating. Burial was in the Correctionville Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Fullerton of Correctionville and Mrs. Melvin (Florence) Wright of Kingsley, four grandchildren, Mrs. Herbert (Pat) Rasmussen of Cushing, Mrs. Ron (Cleone) Perkins of Mason City, Larry Wright of Sioux City and Stephen Wright of Grinnell, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, six brothers and sisters.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Barker funeral home at Correctionville. Rev. Ervin Schemmell of St. John's Lutheran Church at Cushing officiated. Burial was in Correctionville cemetery.

Mr. Keller was born March 7, 1884, at Jamestown, N.D. He moved to Woodbury county with his parents when he was two years old. He married Sadie Mahin April 24, 1907, and they lived in several places in western Iowa before they moved to Correctionville in 1930. Mrs. Keller died in November 1963.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Francis Fullerton of Correctionville and Mrs. Melvin (Florence) Wright of Kingsley; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
