Tootle had been a city bus driver since 1929. Ill health forced him to retire this spring.
He was born at Ft. Worth and moved to Shawnee with his parents in 1901. He came to Oklahoma City in 1923. He was affiliated with the Baptist church.
Surviving are his wife, Edith and five sisters, Mrs. Pearl White of Shawnee, Mrs. Opi Clark of Tulare, California, Mrs. Maggie Porterfield of Tecumseh, Mrs. Myrtle Hoerline of Shawnee and Mrs. Florence Boettler of Fresno, California.
