Surnames: Sanford, Curtis
Late Betsey Sanford
Mrs. Sanford was born at Whitehall, New York, on the 26th of October, 1822, and subsequently became the wife of Newton Sanford, from whom she was separated by his death some 15 years ago. She was the mother of 10 children, seven of whom survive her. She was always a good and loving mother. She was grandmother of a large number of grand-children, and we all feel the loss of her very much. She died Wednesday evening at 10 o'clock, at the age of 65 years, 1 month, 4 days, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. B. Curtis, in Augusta, Mich. She has been a servant of the Lord for 30 years, and died happy. She was a member of the M. E. Church.
