BARBER, JONATHAN
JONATHAN BARBER OF BRANT IS DEAD. Jonathan David Barber was born at Maple Hill, Ontario County, N.Y., April 4 1826, and died at his daughter's in Brant, Saginaw county, Mich. Oct. 11, 1905, Mr. Barber was converted in youth and joined the United Brethren church. Upon coming to St. Charles he united with the M.E. church. He was a class leader for a number of years but on account of age and poor health has not been permitted to attend church for some years. The funeral was held from the Free Methodist church of Brant, Oct 13, 1905, Rev. D.H. Kyes officiating. His wife preceded him to the other world by about 13 years. He leaves four children, Mrs. Foor of Toledo, Wm. H. Barber of Fremont, Frank Barber of Brant and Mrs. Ross of Brant.
