CLORA SHAN, 85, OF NOBLE PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING

. Mrs. Clora Shan, age 95, well known and respected citizen of Decker township passed away early this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital following a long period of ill health. She had made her home in Olney for the past several years.
. A native of Charleston, W. Va, she was born the daughter of Major Christian Donat and Anna Hickel Donat. She was married to John Harry Shan on September 6, 1893 in Decker township. He passed away on June 11, 1948. Mrs. Shan was a long and faithful member of the Noble Methodist Church.
. She leaves three children: Mrs. Marie Sager and Russell Shan both of Noble and Mrs. Daisy Mulbach of North Miami Beach, Fla. There are 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandson and a step grandson Robert Muhlbach.
. Funeral services for Mrs. Shan will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with interment in the Noble Cemetery.
. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 P.M. Thursday.
