Mrs. Agnes Craig Clements 226 Fayette Ave., will be 83 years old Tuesday [31 Oct 1961]. She will be honored at an open house to be held at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Tonge, 42 S 5th West, from 2 to 6 p.m., Oct 29.
She was born Oct. 31, 1878, in Salt Lake City a daughter of Charles C. and Jean Ray Craig. She lived in Vineyard, Utah County, as a girl and went to Mercur where she was a dressmaker.On Oct. 8, 1903, she married Joseph Steven Clements in Salt Lake City. He died April 2, 1919. Mrs. Clements lived in American Fork until 1925 when she moved to Salt Lake City.
Mrs. Clements is the mother of six sons and daughters. They are Joseph (Jean) Tonge, Mrs. Otto (Thelma) Adamson, Mrs. Grant (Lucille) Wyatt, and Alvin Clements, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Arthur (Leona) Fahrni, Richfield; Steven C., Milford. She also has 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Dearly beloved mother and grandmother, age 99, died January 9, 1978 [Monday] in Salt Lake City.Born October 31, 1878 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles and Jane Rae Craig. Married Joseph Stephen Clements, October 8, 1903 in Provo, Utah. He died April 2, 1919.
Active member LDS Church; was Relief Society worker in the 30th Ward.
Survivors: 2 sons and 4 daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Gene) Tonge; Mrs. Arthur W. (Leona) Fahrni; Mrs. Grant (Lucille) Wyatt; Alvin F. Clements, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Otto (Thelma) Adamson, American Fork, Utah; Steven C. Clements, St. George, Utah; 21 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, noon, in the Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State, where friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday [12 Jan 1978] one hour prior to services. Interment, American Fork City Cemetery.
