Funeral Held at Elsinore Saturday For Peter Anderson

Peter Anderson, 60, of Elsinore, died Saturday of pneumonia contracted while employed on a building at Antimony. His body was brought here for burial Sunday and funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Elsinore Ward Chapel, with A.O. Engar of the bishopric in charge.

Speakers were J.L. Staples and Bishop Leon T. Madsen. Musical numbers were a vocal duet by Evelyn and Bethel Sylvester, with Mrs. Minnie Kotter as accompanist, a vocal solo by Mrs. Minnie Sylvester, accompanied by Mrs. D.N. Oldroyd, and a vocal duet by Mrs. Sylvester and Mr. Oldroyd.

Prayers were offered by Soren Hermansen and W.W. Sylvester.

Burial was in the Elsinore cemetery. N.P. Anderson dedicated the grave.

Pallbearers were six nephews, Kellon, LaVar, Keith, Arvy, Buster and Alvin Johnson.

Mr. Anderson was born in Denmark in 1874. He moved to Elsinore with his parents in 1887, and continued to make his home there. Surviving are six sons and one daughter, Martin and Aaron Anderson of Delta, Clayton, Floyd and Leonard Anderson of Elsinore. Clarence Anderson of Richfield, and Mrs. Wesley Anderton of Marysvale; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Tena Johnson and Chris Anderson of Elsinore, Miss Alice Anderson and Joseph Anderson of Salt Lake.
