Christine Elizabeth Cornwell, age 83 of Manassas died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Cornwell was a member of Manassas Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cornwell. Survivors include four sons, Floyd Mason Cornwell Jr. of Nev., Dean Cornwell and wife Beverly of Fla., Sammy Cornwell and wife Cathy of Manassas and Scott Cornwell and wife Nancy of Fla.; one brother, Harold Ratliff of Tazewell; two sisters, Dorothy Severt of Abingdon, and Madeline Hamelton of Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles Cornwell and wife Pat and their children and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 25, at Manassas Baptist Church, 8800 Sudley Road, Manassas, with Dr. William T. Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
