MOSLEY Rites Set Monday

Mrs. R. L. MOSLEY, 73, resident of Abilene since 1935, died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday in Brownwood where she had been since August 1948. She had been in poor health for the past several years.

Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the University Baptist Church here. The Rev. Sterling PRICE, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. W. C. TAGGART. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Warren Funeral Home.

Mrs. MOSLEY was born Jan. 2, 1876 in Montgomery, Ala., moving to Holland, Tex., at the age of eight. She was married to R. L. MOSLEY Dec. 12, 1893, at Bartlett, Tex. The couple lived in Winters and Plainview before moving to Abilene in 1935. Mr. MOSLEY died here Jan. 23, 1945. The Abilene residence was at 2442 Simmons Ave.

Mrs. MOSLEY was a member of the University Baptist Church.

Survivors are two sons, C. P. MOSLEY of Ballinger, and the Rev. L. G. MOSLEY of Newport News, Va.; six daughters, Mrs. T. B. MITCHELL of Lockney, Mrs. H. H. McGREGOR of Abilene, Mrs. Sig FAIRCLOTH of Eastland, Mrs. R. B. REES of Big Bear City, Calif., Mrs. Willie KEEL Jr., of College Station; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. J. L. LANHAM of San Saba and Mrs. E. C. AVEY of Coleman.
