Born Nov. 16, 1931, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domingo and Mary (Barboza) Coelho. Mrs. Stevens worked in several clerical positions, with the last being a secretary with the City of East Providence. An avid reader, she also enjoyed boating with her family and dining out.
In addition to her husband of 46 years, she leaves her daughter Karen M. Conley of Riverside; her grandson, Brenton S. Conley; and her sister, Lillian Paris of Bristol.
