He is survived by two sisters: Zora Sharp and Artie Nichols, of Detroit, Mich.; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Corinth Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, December 30, with Rev. Carlie Duncan and Rev. Finley Hatfield officiating. The Mason Family sang. Burial followed in the Smokey Junction Cemetery. Oneida American Legion #136 was in charge of full military honors at graveside. Those serving were: Milford Burchfield, James Collins, Lloyd Goad, Curtis Marcum, Odie Posey, A. V. Stanley, James Thomas, and Bugler, Zane Roberts. Pallbearers were: Bruce Anderson, Lonnie Anderson, Raymond Hutson, Audie Phillips, Danny L. Phillips and Ed Phillips.
