Betty G. Rhoda, age 85, passed away at Friday, December 26, 2008 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born September 13, 1923, she was the daughter of Harvey Gilbert and Florence May. She was married to Raymond F. Rhoda. Betty was a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha (Thomas) Golden and Patricia (Ken) VanOsdol. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard (Mary Lou) Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be conducted by Rev. Bill Hoopes at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Greenwood United Methodist Church at 525 N Madison Ave in Greenwood . Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Entombment will take place following service in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
