Mina married William Soren 15 May, 1924. They had two babies who died and then adopted 4 children. They owned mines in the Cascades.

WILHELMINA SOREN

Wilhelmina (Mina) Soren died Wednesday, April 19 at the United General Hospital after a long extended illness. She was born in Coupeville, A in 1906 and had been a life long resident of Skagit County.

Her marriage to William Robert LeRoy Soren took place in Sedro-Woolley in 1924 and Mrs. Soren had been very active in business in Hamilton for twenty years and was also in business in real estate, logging and mining. Mr. and Mrs. Soren moved to Sedro-Woolley from Hamilton in 1945.

Mrs. Soren was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. For years she was secretary of the Value Mines Corp.

Survivors include her husband, William R. Soren at the family home on No. Reed St., Sedro-Woolley, one son, William Patrick Soren of Snohomish; three daughters, Mrs. Harley (Iva) Ewing of Bellevue, Mrs. Marilyn K. Baker of Montesano, and Mrs. Jack D. (Elizabeth) Gibbs of Samish Island; one brother, Ralph C. Wilson of Sedro-Woolley, and one sister, Jessie Soren, of District Line Road, Sedro-Woolley; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews Suggest memorials to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church of Sedro-Woolley.
