The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services at the graveside in Beth Elohim Cemetery, Huguenin Avenue, Thursday, March 16, 2006, at three-fifteen o'clock. Mr. Lazarus was born March 12, 1910 in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Louis Lazarus and Rose Saks Lazarus. He was a retired accountant with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. He was a member of Beth Elohim Temple and a former member of The Lions Club and The Knights of Pythias. He is survived by one daughter: Joyce Lazarus Running of Williamstown, MA; one sister: Bertha Breibart of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beth Elohim Temple, 86 Hasell Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
