Will Olive, 94, of Wilmot, was born September 10, 1914. He died Friday, November 14, 2008 at the St. Joseph Nursing Home in Monroe, Louisiana. Mr. Olive was a native of Camden, MS; a resident of Wilmot since 1984 and a former resident of Jones, Louisiana. He was a farmer and a member of the Second Baptist Church south of Wilmot.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Ford Olive in 1981; a daughter, Barbara Hestle; three sons, Porter Dean Olive, Louis Terrell Olive and William Otis Olive; his parents, Jerry & Pauline Goodloe Olive; two brothers, Bob & Clinton Maxwell and three sisters, Eldora, Ophelia and Josephine Olive.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Brim Olive of Wilmot; six sons, Ozzy Olive and wife, Lucia, of Mentone, CA, Bascil Olive and wife, Roshell, of Richmond, CA, Alfonso Olive and wife, Gloria, of Ontario, CA, Kenneth Olive and wife, Ada, of Rialto, CA, Rickey Olive and wife, Eggy, of Longbeach, CA and Richard Olive and wife, Renae, of Shreveport, LA; five daughters, Farish Edward of Hamburg, Linda Parker and husband, Rickey, of Bastrop, LA, Marion Simpson and husband, William, of Crossett, Vannessal Powell and husband, Drew, of Monroe, LA and Brenda Philson and husband, Rodrick, of Baton Rouge, LA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.

Funeral services are 11 a.m., Thursday November 20, 2008 at the Second Baptist Church with Bro. Louis James officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery in Jones, Louisiana. Pallbearers are Ozzie, Bascil, Alfonso, Kenneth, Rickey & Richard Olive. Honorary pallbearers are Drew Powell, Jr, Rodrick Philson, William Simpson, Rickey Parker, Johnny Olive and DaVince Olive.
