Fred F. Shoaf
Fred F. Shoaf, 75, of Fulton, died March 10, 1985, at the St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. He was born Oct. 17, 1909, in Essex, Mo., the son of Willard and Eva M. Markham Shoaf. He was married to Bessie McCall who preceded him in death in March 1964. He then married Gladys Marie Simpson, who preceded him in death in 1971.
Mr. Shoaf is survived by a son, Ronald Shoaf of Fulton; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Autenrieth of Fulton, and Mrs. Bonnie Lee Holt of Shell Knob, Mo.; five stepsons, Henry Matteson of New Bloomfield, Eugene Matteson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Elvin, Harold and Robert Lee Matteson, all of Fulton; two stepdaughters, Ophelia Pryer and Dorothy Opperman, both of Kansas City; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Amual James Shoaf, and a step-daughter, Gertrude Shoaf.
Mr. Shoaf was retired from the Harbison-Walker Brick plant.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Browning-Debo Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Hayes conducting the services. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
