Mrs. Verne Corey died in Washington
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Verne G. Corey on Saturday, Jan 27 in Sibley hospital, Washington DC.
Mrs. Corey was the wife of Verne G. Corey, native of Fullerville. She died after several years illness. Interment was in Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va.
She was a graduate of the Catholic University of America and was a psychiatric nursing specialist. She had served as supervisor of the affiliate nursing program at St. Elizabeth's hospital for many years and later served with the Veterans Administration in Washington and Augusta Ga.
Mr. Corey is a retired Bureau of Custom's attorney and is presently living in Chevy Chase, Md.
