Funeral services for William A. Matteson, 72 years old, Seventy-ninth street and Dundee road, Hickman Mills, Mo., who died yesterday at the Research hospital, will be held at 3:30 o'clock Monday at the Newcomer chapel, Brush Creek boulevard and the Paseo. Mr. Matteson was born near Portland, Mo., and had lived in the Greater Kansas City area the last four years. He previously had lived in Jefferson City. He was a retired harness maker. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elvira Jane Matteson of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Pete Waters of the home; Mrs. Frank Turner, Jefferson City, and Mrs. Henry Raithel, Ninety-first street and Kemper road, Hickman Mills; five sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Stewart, 410 West Eighteenth street; Mrs. Bell Garrett, Fulton, Mo.; Mrs. L. A. Moore, 3800 Fremont avenue; Mrs. R. E. Dewey, De Soto, Mo., and Mrs. Charles Werner, St. Louis; three brothers, N. A. Matteson, Polk, Mo.; John Matteson, St. Charles, Mo., and Robert Matteson, Steedman, Mo.

Dies at Hospital
Relatives here have received word of the death of W. A Matterson, a former resident of Jefferson City, who passed away Friday in Research hospital at Kansas City.
Survivors include the widow, and three daughters: Mrs. V. G. Waters and Mrs. Henry Raithel, of Kansas City, and Mrs. Frank Turner of Jefferson City; and five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services and burial will occur at Kansas City Monday afternoon.
