WAYNESBORO- Clinton Robert Fisher,79 of Rt.3 Box 2108-A died at 11;40 A.M. Thursday(January 15,1998)at a local hospital.
He was born October 29,1918 in Albemarle Co.,the son of the late Mattie(Evans)Fisher.
He was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church,worked as a civilian conservation corp employee throughout the state and was retired from Dupont Company with thirty-eight years of service in the chemical department.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Delma Rachael Fisher and his second wife Pansy M. Fisher,brothers Albert Fisher,Charlie Lee Fisher,Hammie E.Fisher,Richard Lucas Fisher,George Franklin Fisher and sisters Flossie Fisher,Margaret Virginia and Mary Marie Craig.
Survivors include his wife Fern Clemmons Fisher, three sons of Waynesboro, two daughters, and one brother.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11;00A.M. Monday at Riverview Cemetery by Dr.Richard Young.
The Family will receive friends from 7-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Waynesboro Chapel at Reynolds Funeral Service.Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church 2377 Calf Mountain Rd, Waynesboro,Va 22980.
