Fern 'Grandma Clemens' Fisher 90,a residence of Ruxton Health Services in Staunton passed away Friday morning, Dec.12,2003.

She was born Dec.4,1913 In Martins,Ferry Ohio, daughter of the late William H. and Mabel Shipman Schnell.

Mrs.Fisher had been a resident of Springdale, a member of First Baptist Church and had been treasurer at the Waynesboro Senior Center.She was an active volunteer at the hospital in Martins Ferry,Ohio.She enjoyed cooking and Bingo.

In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband,Melvin P.Clemens,and her second husband Clinton Fisher,four sisters, Pauline Moore,Wilma Wilson,Rose Carlton and Martha Kellner.

Survivors include one daughter,Lida Snively and her husband Robert of Waynesboro,one brother James Schnell of Florida,daughter-in-law Patrica Clemens of Arizona,three grandchildren,Diyana Hagenlocker of Stuarts Draft,William Joseph Clemens and Daniel Clemens, both of Arizona,six great-grandchildren,John Garrett ,Hagenlocker,Crystal Clemens,Daniel Clemens Jr. and Christopher Clemens.

A private family service will be conducted in Riverview Cemetery by the Rev.David Snodgrass.
