William Tinsman died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Class in the southwest part of town on Wednesday night, June 13, 1900 of heart trouble.
Mr. Tinsman was born in Virginia in 1819 and was one of the early residents of this county. He had for several years made his home with his two daughters: Mrs. A. B. Class and Mrs. William Patterson.
He was an old soldier in Co. K 9th Indiana Infantry. Funeral services were held under the auspices of the G.A.R. at the home of Mrs. Class this morning with burial in Monticcello cemetery.
