Honey Grove

Hugh Thomas Atkins, 91, of Grove Manor Nursing Home died at 11:45 p.m. Friday at McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris, following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Krebs, Okla., Oct. 31, 1883. A son of Richard Atkins and Mary Elizabeth Foster.

He was married Dec. 2, 1919 to Hazel Morley.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are his wife, Hazel; five daughters, Mrs. Opel Woods of Texarkana, Mrs. Edith Wright, Mrs. Armelia Wilson and Mrs. Neva Wright, all of Honey Grove, Mrs. Melba McDow of Fairbanks, Alaska; one brother, Frank Atkins of Wilburton, Okla.; twenty-one grandchidlren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be hald at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel with the Rev. Billy Stone officiating. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
