Leland L. Davis, 76, of Decatur died 10:30 p.m. Monday (May1, 1989) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.
Mr. Davis was born in Sullivan, son of Ernest and Agnes M. Davis. He was a retired drill operator for Caterpillar Inc., a member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church, where he was a deacon emeritus, a member and past vice president of Caterpillar Retirees Club, member of UAW Local #751 and past senior counselor for United Commercial Travelers. He married Zola M. Cuttill in 1938.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Gary Leland, Robert Lynn and Merle Eugene, all of Decatur; three grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
