Ernest B. Davis, 75, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday at his home, east of Sullivan. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the McMullin funeral home here with Rev. Henry Graham officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Davis was born Dec. 18, 1889, in Moultrie County, a son of Henry and Martha Pifer Davis. He married Agnes Mackan on Oct. 15, 1911, in Bethany.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Leland L. and H. Loyle, both of Decatur; a brother, Charles Davis, Boody; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Harsh, Decatur, and Mrs. Floyd Erlenbusch, Mode, and five grandchildren.
