Martha Acord passed away on January 28, 2007 in Kokomo, Indiana. She was born on February 17, 1931 in Russiaville, Indiana to Elmer & Addie Malicoat Watson. In November 1958, she married Ralph Acord Sr, who preceded her in death in 2006.

Martha graduated from Russiaville High School in 1949. She worked for Delco Electronics for over 33 years before retiring in 1982.

Martha was very active in her community. She sold melons with her husband in Kokomo and enjoyed going for rides, going to the Blueberry Festival and going to her grandchildren's games. She loved her dog, Libby, and loved watching the Game Show Network.

She is survived by her four sons, five sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews. (Names omitted per FG policies).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years, Ralph E. Acord Sr.; son, Ricky Etherington; two brothers; two sisters; and daughter-in-law, Julie Acord.
