She attended Russiaville High School and was employed at Delco Electronics, retiring in 1972 after 30 years of service. She was a member of Russiaville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was an avid reader.
She was born June 9, 1913, in Tipton County to Frank and Addie Malicoat Watson.
She is survived by two brothers, Elmer (Pat) and Wayne (Shirley), both of Kokomo; four sisters, Sarah Jones of Indianapolis, Mary Etherington and Irene Roler, both of Russiaville, and Dorothy Watson of Kokomo; a special nephew, Donnie Joe (Virginia) Etherington and their children, Kyle and Chris.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Acord.
Private services will be today in Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville., with the Rev. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery.
