Charles Allen Hightower, only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Hightower, aged 14 years 6 months and three days died at the Pauls Valley Sanitarium Friday evening at 8:40, June 1st, 1917.
Funeral services were conducted from the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Goodpasture by Rev. Charles Mann.
Allen's death was the result of accidental injuries received while attending to his duties on the farm near Whitebead, Wednesday. He was brought at once to the Pauls Valley Sanitarium where all that skill and science and watchful care could do was done in the fight for his life, but to no avail. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, manifesting the high esteem of friends and neighbors.
