Daughter of Samuel & Lena (Egger) Mueller.
She attended District #3 School. Helen was united in marriage to Gottlieb Abegglen on February 26, 1936, in Columbus at St. Luke's United Church of Christ where she was a lifetime member. They farmed in the Columbus area and in 1951 Helen and Gottlieb were awarded the WOW-TV Farm Family of the Year award. Helen was active in many church circles and served as a 4-H leader for five years. In 1990, they received recognition from the Platte County Fair Board for the family's involvement with the 4-H Clubs for three generations. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crocheting, gardening, and flowers.
