Son of Hans Beer (bur. Milford Cemetery) and Ursula Lantz Beer (bur. Lantz Cemetery, Richland Co., Ohio). Lived most of his life in Milford, Indiana, returned to Mansfield, Ohio in 1959. Died at Crestline Memorial Hospital. Married his cousin, Leah Beer on 10 April 1929 [she was the daughter of Ulrich Beer; b. 29 Sept. 1877, Roanoke, IL; died 23 March 1959, Milford, IN]
