Dale "Dutch" Biele, 94, formerly of Chanute, Kansas, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home, Olathe, Kansas.
He was born in Bentonville, Arkansas, on Dec. 19, 1913, to Fred and Dora (Spivey) Biele.
He married Rosemary Cooper on May 24, 1937, in Iola, Kansas. She died on Oct. 25, 2006.
He worked as a Rail Car Inspector for the Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Bill Yeamans and Suzanne and Jerry Simono; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Dennis.
Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery on East 14th, Chanute, KS.
Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Chanute, KS is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions to Good Shepard Hospice may be left with the funeral home.
