Andrew & Mary Ann Baker married Dec 9, 1860 in Wells Co., IN. They had 8 children:

4. James Monroe Bilbee b. Nov 1869.
5. Lewis Clinton Bilbee b. Aug 24, 1873.
6. Thomas Elmer Bilbee b. Aug 20, 1876.
7. Cora Bilbee Minch b. Nov 26, 1880.
8. Charles Bilbee b. Oct 3, 1883.

Andrew served in the 75th Regiment Indiana Infantry. Organized at Wabash, Ind., and mustered in August 19, 1862. Left State for Louisville, Ky., August 21, thence moved to Lebanon, Ky. Attached to 40th Brigade, 12th Division, Army of the Ohio, to November, 1862. 2nd Brigade, 5th Division, Center 14th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to January, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 5th Division, 14th Army Corps, to June, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 4th Division, 14th Army Corps, to October, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 14th Army Corps, to June, 1865.

Do not know why Andrew is buried in Kansas, was he visiting or living there? Suspect he was visiting wife's relatives who lived in the area. In 1880 Andrew w/wife & children were in Salamonie Twp., Huntington Co., IN. In 1900 the widow & some of the children were in Grant Co., IN.
