Mary was preceded in death by her husband William of 40 years before he passed in 1989; her children Ligel Washington and Sandra Jenkins and her grandson, Tal'lani Williams.
She is survived by her children, Dolores Summdores of Merced, Garnetta Beavers of Merced, Cleola Jenkins of Atwater, Kay Jones of Merced, Leisa Whitfield of Los Angeles and Linda Adams; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 2004 from 2-7 pm at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Chapel, 1490 B Street, Merced, California, 95340. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 1:00 pm. at the Second Baptist Church, 501 Q Street, Merced, CA 95340. Interment will follow at the Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B Street, Merced, CA 95340.
