Last obsequies were held Tuesday morning in Calvary Baptist Church for W.C. "Jinx" McNatt, pioneer Casa Grande resident, who died suddenly from a heart attack last Saturday.

The church was filled to overflowing with friends and many beautiful floral offerings covered the altar. Business houses, as well as residents, were represented.

A full service, conducted the the Rev. L.D. White, consisted of sacred songs, prayer and scriptural readings, the reading of Mr. McNatt's obituary, and a short address.

Mr. McNatt operated a blacksmith shop in the corner of N. First St. and Florence for many years, and was prominent in the city's civic and political affairs.

He ws born in Bowie, Texas, on September 14, 1883, and came to Casa Grande with his wife and three daughters in 1913.

He is survived by Mrs. McNatt; their daughters: Miss Velma McNatt and Mrs. Paul Carmony, both of Tucson, and Mrs. Cyril Pate, of Casa Grande; two brothers: Mark McNatt, of Phoenix, and Carr S. McNatt, of Casa Grande; two sisters, Mrs. A.C. Husted, of Tampa, TX, and Mrs. A.D. Cooper of San Luis Obispo, CA; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were in the hands of Cole and Maud Mortuary and interment was in Mountain View Cemetery.
