Mrs. Augusta F. McGoey
Mrs. Augusta F. McGoey, 79, of 119 Walnut St., Clearfield, wife of Francis R. McGoey, died in her home Friday at noon.
She was born in Clearfield on June 2, 1894, a daughter of James F. and Emma (Shifter) Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving Mrs. McGoey are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. John A. (Barbara) Hughes of Farmington, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. McGoey was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church where Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home in Clearfield Sunday afternoon and evening and until time of services Monday. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at the funeral home.
